Credit problems are one of the most common financial issues we see at Credit Canada, and we’ve specifically developed this module to help keep you from falling into common pitfalls. It’s also an excellent course to learn how credit systems work and how to get your ideal credit rating.
If you’re new to building credit, you’ll be ahead of the game. You’ll learn what credit is, what it isn’t, why it’s so difficult to resist, and – most importantly – the consequences of reckless spending. You’ll also learn about the various types of credit and how to build a credit history without falling into the traps of credit card debt.
If you already have a credit history and need help with credit card debt or poor credit choices, this course will be invaluable. You’ll learn how to handle credit while juggling debt, take a hard look at the credit scoring system and how to repair your score, and discover how you can have a healthier relationship with credit.
Finally, we’ll cover one of the commonest ways to build healthy credit: car ownership. We’ll look into the pros and cons of leasing a car versus buying a car and examine how the right investment could improve your credit score.
